Building the 7 Year Tribulation Timeline - 1 of 2

Welcome to SignsAndProphecies.com, I’m Camry Ragone.  I’m going to take you all on the same journey I went through that led me to put together this Timeline of these last 7 years of Daniel or the last 7 years of Tribulations.  I have things to present that I have never seen anyone else really talk about but are really important to us, especially right now.

You guys know that I have only done YouTube shorts until now.  I knew making a long video was something I couldn’t avoid for much longer.  I don’t like to make long videos - I have 4 kids, my oldest is 16, my youngest is 2.  However, this subject is simply too large and complex for YouTube shorts.

I wasn’t going to do this, but I’m first going to give a little info about me and why I started my website in the first place.  I’ve seen how people have questioned other LDS content creators, so I’m just going to say this:  Yes, I am an active temple recommend-carrying member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  I’ve been a faithful member all my life. I had the pleasure of attending the Burley Temple dedication with my husband and my two older kids just a couple weeks ago.   

I started SignsAndProphecies.com roughly about 2019, just by myself, I don’t have a team in the background.  I write everything I produce, I record and edit all my own videos.  I pay to keep my website up, but I do not monetize my website or my YouTube channel.  I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, I just don’t do it.  The studying is all mine, though I do give credit if I find something I use from another person which isn’t too often.  

I started SignAndProphecies.com because I simply had enough of watching many friends either fall away from the church, or repeat false doctrine and prophecy ideology, probably unknowingly. There were many important topics I saw that we needed to understand, but just aren’t taught at church.  I can’t count how many times I’ve seen the word “prophecy” weird my fellow LDS church members out, which is totally crazy to me.  It makes so many people uncomfortable, they seem to forget that we believe in prophecy.  Prophecy is a major part of our religion.  Our Article of Faith #7 says, “We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.”  The prophets in EVERY book of scripture teach and declare prophecy, hence their title.  Christ himself gave many prophecies and made sure to fulfill all the prophecies concerning Himself as written in the Torah, while He lived on earth.

Or, I had members tell me that we didn’t need to prepare for the second coming, that it wouldn’t happen in our lifetime, I’m sure that’s what every generation says.  So that’s when I decided that I was going to start my own website, write articles, use scripture and actual, real, contextual quotes from the Prophets in efforts to reach as many people as would listen.  If nothing else, it would make me study hard. I love to learn but if I can reach at least one person, then I suppose it’s even more worth it.  

After about a year, I had people literally from all over the world reading my articles. I have never paid for any advertisement. Maybe I will in the future, I don’t know yet.  After I published my “2021” article, I had over 30K views.  I’ve since lost a majority of my following after I had several health problems during and after my last pregnancy and I didn’t write for a couple years but that’s done now.  This information needs to go out to everyone, as many as we can reach, so I appreciate anyone who is willing to like and subscribe to my channel, please check out my latest article, “The Great Delusion” on my website, SignsAndProphecies.com.  

Before I get into the timeline, I decided that I would include some common Timeline questions and a quick run down on what I personally used to create this Timeline, as well as the measurements of literal or prophetic time markers.  I’m going to start by answering the most common questions or criticisms I see, not just to me, but to other timeline makers I see:

1. Are we able to know when Christ comes?  

   1. The quick answer is ‘no’.  “The hour and the day no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven, nor shall they know until he comes.”  However, it is clear that the righteous will know when we’re very close as only they will watch for the signs as commanded. It is the wicked who will be caught unawares as a “thief in the night”. 

      
      

   2. [Mark 13: 35-37] says, “Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.  And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

      
      

   3. The phrase, “No man knows the day nor hour” is a Jewish idiom, and is often used in Jewish High Holy Feasts such as Rosh Hashanah, also called Feast of Trumpets, which is a feast that represents the coming of Christ.  During this feast, because it must only begin with the new moon, the sighting of this new moon is paramount.  They use watchmen to watch for this new moon.  When the new moon is sighted, it has to be declared by these witnesses to the Sanhedrin before the feast could begin.  This is exactly what we will be doing in a few years from now but instead of looking for a new moon, we will be vigilantly looking for Christ.  (Our prophet and Apostles today are our Watchemen!)

      
      

   4. [D&C 45:39, 45] - “he that feareth me shall be looking forth for the great day of the Lord to come, even for the signs of the coming of the Son of Man”, those who do not watch are cut off.

1. Is it wrong to create a timeline?  (Is it presumptuous?) 

   1. I don’t believe so.  I look at it more like a study guide for such a complex subject, but I think it could become that if we’re being too strict with it to the point of detriment, as that would be incredibly prideful of us to tell Christ when He better get here. That’s scary, like the Pharisee’s telling Christ to give them a sign.  We don’t tell Christ what to do.  So long as we’re not being dogmatic, saying such and such HAS to happen on THIS DAY, then we’re okay.  I’m going to point towards dates, some will be very specific but please remember, these dates should be treated more like road signs on a highway, we look for them and they tell us when we’re getting close, they’re an approximation of our whereabouts.  (That’s my favorite comparison and I credit Jodi Stoddard.)  I personally like to have a visual to use, designed for people like me that are visual learners and need to write things down or it would be forgotten.  

      
      

   2. There will be some items that need to be added to the timeline, and no matter who puts it together, some items will require heavy logic, understanding of history, politics, some astronomy, Jewish feasts and prompting from the Holy Ghost on where to place it because the truth is, we don’t know 100% when some things will be.  In other words, there will be some items that will just have to be watched for, to get a better feel for when they may occur.  But for the whole picture to make sense, some of these items just have to be placed.  I’ll show you what I mean when we get to the Timeline. 

      
      

   3. One more note about this, that I want to add:  If we are not reading our scriptures and studying to know what the signs are, we will be caught unawares, just as Mark says in chapter 13.  Many of these events can be scary so many people avoid learning.  However, the more unprepared you are, the more frightening your experience will be.  That’s why I say, “don’t be afraid, be ready!”  

3. Media used: 

   1. "The Coming of the Lord" by Gerald N. Lund of the Seventies, Bible, Book of Mormon, D&C, Pearl of Great Price, 2 Ezra 

      
      

   2. I use words spoken by General Authorities which includes the Quorum of the 70’s via talks or social media (now they’re not always using their “prophet hat” so we need to remember - that by “two or more witnesses shall all things be established”) I look for Jewish prophecies and feasts - many people forget that we are intrinsically connected to Israel, (there are general conference talks about that), I use all sorts of world history sources, (including my husband, who is a walking history book), and I use a website to know when future eclipses are.  Lastly, I like to keep track of all sorts of science such as weather, world-wide earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, proof found of the Bible and Book of Mormon, etc.  I keep up with many different science channels and it just amazes me as I watch science slowly catch up to prophecy! 

I’m about to get to the timeline but it’s very complex and not everyone is satisfied with scripture and not every scripture makes sense without additional information to be found.  I’m just going to gloss over basic details:

BASICS Outline:

• Basics of the timeline (There are bits and pieces here and there about the tribulations in scripture but the main bread and butter books are: Daniel, Revelation, D&C 45/88/133 and 2 Ezra. 

  
  

• Measurements of Time: Daniel Timeline Basics  It is difficult to know which ones are prophetic time frames and which are literal time frames.  They also have different starting/ending points to which we measure.  We also need to keep in mind that the days in a year for our Gregorian/Solar calendar are very different vs. the Lunar calendar and Jewish days in a year which is complicated because they also add months in certain years during a given Metonic cycle which is a 19 year grouping.

  
  

• I often ask myself, what events line up with Jewish Feasts and or solar and lunar eclipses?  The Jews have 7 High Holy Feasts per one Jewish year, the days of which vary, sometimes even putting their holiday in a different Gregorian month than the previous year!  Jewish Feasts 1 These 7 high holy feasts are believed to represent 7 real and literal events surrounding Jesus Christ and the more that are fulfilled, the closer we are to the 2nd Coming.  The first four are fulfilled:  The first image here with the blue lettering is the feast's name in Hebrew.  Jewish Feasts 2 This one with the red lettering shows which events they correspond to from Christ’s life and future events.  Because these are also a type and a shadow, they have multiple real events connected to them, for example, Passover was a literal event when the Hebrews were still in Egypt, but Passover was also the same night that Christ fulfilled the Atonement.  In both instances, blood of a Passover lamb was used to save us from death and sin, respectively.  

  
  

  • There are 3 of these Jewish Feasts that have not been fulfilled yet.  The first one is Rosh Hashana or the Feast of Trumpets.  It’s the Jewish new year.  They believe that one day, this Feast will usher in the Messiah.  It’s a time to prepare for Christ who will come for us.  We believe this is the day the Savior comes to rescue the Jews at Jerusalem.

    
    

  • Next we have Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement.  It is the holiest day of the year and completes the annual cycle of High Holy days.  It’s a day of repentance, fasting and reflection.  A day to get right with God.  Often believed to be the day of Judgement or the 2nd Coming.

    
    

  • The third and last Feast that will be fulfilled in the last days is Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles.  This is the day the Jews were commanded to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.  This day represents God’s protection and His presence.  It embodies this idea that God provides all things - just as He brought us out of Egypt, so too will we ultimately be brought to live with Him again.  This is thought to represent coming into the Millennium to live with God, where all things are restored.

    
    

  • Astronomy is very big with the Jewish culture and heavily involved in their holidays and ceremonies.  Numerology, or “Gematria”, is also a major thing that intersects everything they do. Jewish Gematria is where words and letters = numbers and is very sacred to them.  Each has its own special meaning or representation and we’ll see that with the timeline.

  
  

• We can also look at: What events line up with “sacred convergences” (we believe in this idea of “sacred convergences” see Elder Gong’s talk 4/2025) - it’s this idea of sacred events, ancient or modern where history repeats itself and unites with another event.  It’s a rule of prophecy, it’s called a “type and a shadow” in the scriptures.  Ultimately this means that some things can be “fulfilled” then “fulfilled again” in another age which is why we often speak of the scriptures as being for our time.  In Christ’s life, He made sure to fulfill the prophecies in the Torah, and so on.  These “sacred convergences” or “type and a shadow” serves as a reminder from God to His people that HE is in control, not man.

  
  

  • The last thing we will look at is how the Book of Mormon is a near perfect “type and shadow” of the last days to the point where we can use it as a template.  Elder Bednar said, “the Book of Mormon is a book about our future and the times in which we do now and will yet live.” (In the Space of Not Many Years)  (I want to credit Morgan Philpot here for this quote that I wasn’t aware of, and I came across him a couple weeks ago when my mom sent me a link to his video.  I’m just happy to say that it fit what I had on my timeline!)

FINALLY, let’s get to the TIMELINE!  I’m not going to go in order of events because my purpose of this video is to show how I built this timeline from the scriptures.  Sometimes we’ll work forwards, sometimes we’ll work backwards.  Maybe eventually I can make it into an interactive timeline online.  We’ll see.

Events of The Tribulations: Let’s start with the foundation.

 1. We know this is a 7 year period -

According to (1) [Daniel 9:24-27], there’s a whole different video I could do showing how all of Daniel’s weeks are calculated, but that’s long and there’s many videos on that already, Daniel’s 70 Weeks but I’ll put up an image of a basic timeline of Daniel’s 70 weeks which equals 490 years and how it’s divided which ultimately shows why the Jews only have the 7 years left to complete to “make reconciliation for iniquity”.  This remaining 7 years is the Timeline for the Tribulations and ends when Christ comes. 

There’s some thinking that the 490 years actually began in 444 BC if you use Jewish years, which would be symbolic of the 4-letter name of God in the Hebrew Bible “YHWH”.  The number 4 means “completion”, the 4 parts of the Earth and the 4 worlds in kabbalistic cosmetology. 

2. The 7 years are divided in half - 

(2) [Daniel 9:26-27] tells us about the Anti-Christ, how he makes a “covenant” or peace treaty with many (meaning nations as the Anti-Christ is a global power as shown in Rev. 13, 2 Ezra chapters 11-12.)  He makes this covenant for one week which = 7 year.* (3)  [Daniel 9:27] then gives us the approximate time for when this Anti-Christ will come to the temple in Jerusalem under the guise of “peace and safety” [1 Thess. 5:3] because that’s what you do when you have a peace treaty, but obviously the anti-Christ has no intentions of keeping the treaty any longer.  Satan often works through secret combinations in politics.  The Anti-Christ then desecrates and destroys the temple in Jerusalem, thus causing temple work (or “oblations”) to stop. Daniel tells us this happens “in the midst of the week”, meaning about the middle of the 7 years.  (4) 

3. Christ Saves the Jews -

[Daniel 12:11] tells us that from this time that the anti-Christ desecrates and destroys the temple in Jerusalem there are 1,290 days until “the end” [vs. 9, he’s asking how long until the end of these things].  What “end” is he talking about?  Look at vs. 7, “when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.”  (5)

In other words, 1,290 days (or roughly 3.5 years) until the day that wicked army made up of many nations has surrounded the Jews and successfully scattered “the power” of God’s people, meaning they are completely in the hands of this army, they are going to be destroyed.  This event comes right before the Second Coming and is called the battle of Armageddon by President Fielding Smith mostly for the purpose of not being confused with the battle of “Gog and Magog” which is after the Millennium. [CotL pg. 213]

Most of Israel has been destroyed at this point.  The remnant of the Jews have been holed up in Jerusalem for 3.5 years, ever since that day the anti-Christ came and desecrated their temple.  The Jews up until now had been protected by the two Witnesses [Rev. 11:3 - 1260 days] (6) who had been given great power to send plagues at will to the enemy, withhold rain and to spew fire.  [Rev. 11:5-6]  When their testimony was over and their power taken away, the two witnesses are murdered by this army and their bodies laid in the street for 3.5 days.  There is no hope.  Evil has won.  Just when all seems lost, suddenly Christ reveals himself, resurrects and raises the two witnesses up to heaven. 

Michael, who is Adam, is there to defend his people [Daniel 12:1] and raises up the dead Saints to accompany him, (I feel like this would logically be the deceased Jews all around in the land at that moment who are worthy, because the remaining deceased Saints are brought up later.) [D&C 29:26]  Christ then stands on the Mt. of Olives with his 144k army [D&C 45:48-53] and it cleaves in twain resulting in a great world-wide earthquake (7) [D&C 133:20-24] which kills 7k of the enemy outright and causes water to flow from underneath the temple that heals the Dead Sea. (8) The heavens shake and the newly created valley allows for the remnant of the Jews to escape the army.  Then, with the Jews safely in place, Christ speaks.  The whole Earth hears His voice and the wicked tremble.

4. The B.o.M, Mount of Olives & Parallels? -

Now while it’s very clear from scriptures that the Second Coming happens soon after Christ rescues the Jews in Jerusalem, I feel like there is something missing. The scriptures don’t say anything about Christ doing anything with His people before the Second Coming except show them the wounds in His hands and feet, but shouldn’t there be more?  Then about a week ago, my mom sent me a link to Morgan Philpot’s video that was really good, about Elder Bednar and the B.o.M. being future events.  IMAGE of Bednar’s Talk  

So if the B.o.M. truly is our future just as Elder Bednar said, then let's take a look.  [3 Nephi 10-11]  Here, Christ has already destroyed the wicked, the tempests and earthquakes fade as He comforts his people.  Their grief is turned into joy as Christ shows them the wounds in His hands and feet.  He administers to them, healing them.  Then He spends the next several chapters testifying and teaching the gospel to these people who haven’t known him for a couple thousand years.

Obviously, 3 Nephi is about Christ coming to the tribe of Joseph (or the Nephite and Lamanites) so why does this relate?  Well, a few reasons.  One, this passage shows us all the how, what, why’s and behaviors we can probably expect to see of Christ from this precedent set at His 1st Coming.  He will probably be similar with His future people when He comes.  And two, I spent a tough week writing out and comparing all the major passages of Christ’s Coming and what became clear was, (well, first the fact that they aren’t all about the Second Coming), but what was clear was this parallel between when Christ comes to us at the New Jerusalem and when Christ comes to the Jews in Israel.  I’ll show you what I mean.  Christ Parallels 1

The Lamanites in America, well the more righteous part, lived in the city of Bountiful which was their templed city and maybe the only city that wasn’t destroyed.  The Prophet Nephi, left Zarahemla to go to Bountiful sometime prior.  Did he know Zarahemla would be destroyed?  Anyway, Christ’s first “Coming” happened on the 1st month and 4th day of 34 AD, we know that thanks to Nephi’s timekeeping. [3 Nephi 8:5].  Jerusalem in Israel was destroyed about 36 years later in 70 AD, in which that first group of Christians from Christ’s earthly ministry, faithfully watched for the sign of the Roman invasion of which Christ had prophesied, and they were able to successfully flee before the destruction.  

In about 2030, (we’ll detail that later,) Christ helps us to flee and destroys those who try to take the New Jerusalem.  About 3.5 years later, Israel is mostly destroyed and Jerusalem is just minutes away until Christ comes at the last moment when all hope seems lost and He helps the Jews to flee.  We are told time is made very short in these last days so the years are not as far apart as in the past. [Matt. 24:22]  But what a great parallel, type and shadow and pattern!  When we see these types of things, it’s a huge exclamation mark, make sure to pay attention because it warns and can testify of future events.  We will see many more of these parallels.

So I like to believe here that after Christ comes back to His people - after the army is no longer a threat - the Jews that He left trembling in the valley between the Mount of Olives, He heals them, ministers to them, they see the wounds in His hands and feet and they weep bitterly as they come to know that He is the Christ and that their people really did crucified Him all those years ago.  [D&C 45:53][Zech. 13:6]  In 3 Nephi, Christ did spend some days with his people.  He made sure to set up His holy house in order by setting apart 12 disciples, the old law would be done away with and is now fully restored as all things will be fully restored in the end.  I’m sure there will be many changes and that goes for both Saints and Jews.  For example, we know that we are currently only living partially restored versions of the Law of Consecration and the Law of Sacrifice.  One day we will need to practice those Celestial laws when they are fully restored in the Millennium in order to prepare for a Celestial world after the Millennium.  [CotL pg. 117] The Jewish people are cleansed from all iniquity, everlasting righteousness has been brought and prophecy is now fulfilled concerning His people. (9)  [Daniel 9:24]  

5. THE SECOND COMING -

(10) [D&C 88:93-110] has the most complete Second Coming detail out of any other book.  Christ has finished giving his “sermons” through storms and destruction to the wicked.  Starting in verse 93, a trumpet sounds and there is a “great sign” in the heavens. (11)  What is this great sign?  Both Matthew 24:30 and Luke 21:25–27 tell us that this great sign is Christ himself, coming down from the clouds with power and great glory.  Remember, at this point, all the continents have moved back together as the earth originally was in the “days of Peleg” [D&C 133:24][Genesis 10:25] and because the earth is spherical but is now one landmass, all the peoples of the earth see Christ together.  

1. A trumpet sounds and the voice of an angel declares to the earth that all the tares of the earth (which are the wicked) have been bound and are ready to burn.  So they’re not destroyed yet, just ready to be. [Matthew 13:38]  (12)

   
   

2. Another trumpet sounds, long and loud followed by a “half hour of silence” in verse 95. (13)  Immediately after this the heavens unfold like a “scroll”, (14) I think more like opening up a giant projection screen and we see the face of the Lord, whose being is still visible in the sky but it’s like His face is being projected on a screen.  The prophecy here is that “all flesh” will see Him together, meaning at the same time. 

   
   

3. Vs. 96-97, the Saints and all those righteous people who are still alive - are now caught up to meet Christ, then the rest of the righteous dead are brought forth as well.  (15)

   
   

4. A trumpet sounds, this being numbered as the second trumpet, (the long and loud trumpet that marked the half-hour of silence is the first.)  The dead who have been in spirit prison and that have accepted the gospel are redeemed.  (16)

   
   

5. Verses 100-101, the third trumpet sounds and all the remaining spirits are judged and all are under condemnation or damnation.  They will be bound for the 1k years during the Millennium like Satan.  It is unclear but it seems as if being bound for that time, they have to wait until that period is over to be resurrected and receive their salvation, maybe with a possibility of being exalted higher if they choose to accept the gospel and repent.  [D&C 43:18] 

   
   

6. Verse 102, the 4th trump sounds, this is exactly like the last one but with one major difference, these are those spirits who are awful and will also have to wait until the end of the 1k years to be resurrected, but they are past redemption and will “remain filthy still,” meaning they will refuse to repent and accept Christ.

   
   

7. The 5th trumpet sounds and the Angel proclaims to all people, “Fear God, and give glory to him who sitteth upon the throne, forever and ever; for the hour of his judgment is come.”  This is the moment where everyone who has ever lived, righteous or wicked, on earth or below, must recognize and proclaim Christ as King, for “every ear shall hear it, and every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess” it.

   
   

8. The 6th trump sounds and the Angel declares that “she is fallen” [Revelation 14:8][D&C 1:16]  This is Babylon, the wicked, the tares. Before they were bound and ready to be burned. (17) This is where they are burned.  This section doesn’t specifically say that so we have to fill it in from other scriptures: [Isaiah 66:22][2 Peter 3:10, 1][Isaiah 51:6][Ether 13:8-9][3 Nephi 26:3]  There’s many that describe the fervent heat and great fire, that the old heaven and earth passes away like old garments and Christ brings us new ones. [Isaiah 65:17] tells us that they both pass away and we will remember it not “nor will it come to mind.” This is also earth’s “Saturday Night bath”, the cleansing of the earth by fire because the next 1k years will be the earth’s sabbath so she needs to be clean to acquire her paradisaical glory as a new Terrestrial sphere.

   
   

9. Verse 106-107, the seventh trumpet is blown and an angel declares, “It is finished; it is finished! The Lamb of God hath overcome and trodden the wine-press alone, even the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God.”  Inheritances are awarded, at this point.  (18)

   
   

10. There is one more round of 7 trumpets.  After each trumpet is blown, the acts of men and the mighty works of God are shown for the first corresponding dispensation. (19)  The first trumpet sounds and we all get to watch what happened during the 1st 1k years of the world, the second trumpet = 2nd 1k years, and so on.  I like to fantasize that we get this movie time while the world is burning and we’re lying comfy on a cloud watching all the mysteries of God play out.  Wouldn’t that be amazing?  Maybe roast some marshmallows…

    
    

11. After the 7th trumpet sounds, the angel declares that there is time no longer, meaning all things are now accomplished, Christ is King, Satan is officially bound (20) for 1K years, the Earth is cleansed of all wickedness and all tears are dried.  Think we’ll all give a standing ovation?  I’m sure we’ll celebrate!  The Millennium (21) has now begun.  All people that remain are purified to live on the new Terrestrial Earth with new Terrestrial bodies that can abide it.  

6. DURING THE MILLENNIUM -

[Rev. 21:1-2] While the old heaven and earth has now passed away, (22) we are given a new heaven and and a new earth.  Jerusalem is given a New Jerusalem (23) and Temple, which Christ brings down from heaven, since their last one was destroyed by the Anti-Christ and his army.  [Rev. 3:12] Not to be confused with the New Jerusalem in Missouri which will still be on earth because Christ helps us to build that one. This new Temple in Jerusalem is to be the same giant temple complex that Ezekiel saw in a vision given to him [Ezekiel 40-48].  The interesting thing about that temple he saw is that it’s so large, even larger than Solomon or Herod’s temples that it’s thought that it would require a major change in the geography in Jerusalem.  (Thanks google AI for that fun tidbit.)  According to many, many scriptures, the earthquake that Christ makes when He rents Mt. Olive in two talks about geography changing.  It says in [Isaiah 40:4], for example, “every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low.”  Pretty cool.

1. [Daniel 12:12] is an interesting verse that we need to place on the Timeline, “Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.”  This is about 45 days after the 1,290 days that begin with the anti-Christ in the middle and ends when Christ rescues the Jews. (24)  He doesn’t tell us why we are more “blessed” if we can come to this day.  Perhaps this is when the Millennium begins?  Perhaps Christ spends a full 40 days with His people after the rescue but before the Second Coming.  Maybe that 7k year ACTS movie lasts a few days.  

   
   

2. Temple work is the main event (25) during the Millennium as every person who has ever lived must have their work done.  Joseph Fielding Smith said that the spirits who need temple work would have the ability to just come to those doing the temple work and give their information directly!  [CotL pg. 211]

7. AFTER THE MILLENNIUM -

(26) There is just a little bit of information we have from modern revelation and scripture about what happens after the Millennium. [D&C 133:111] The 1k years of the Millennium is over and Satan has been loosed (27) upon the earth once more but just for “a little season” [D&C 88:111].  During this time, he will gather his armies together, probably both of man that he will deceive yet again and those spirits that were bound with him.  [D&C 88:112-116]  

1. Satan and his armies march upon Zion in a battle called “Gog and Magog,” (28) [CotL pg. 213]  Elder Pratt say, this great army will encompass Zion round about and when they are in position, “fire (comes) down from God out of heaven, and (devours) them.  Devour whom?” he says.  “Not those who are fallen angels for they have no bodies to be devoured.”  In other words, the wicked men who Satan was able to deceive away again in this era are destroyed by the fire.  Then Michael and his army of angels come down and clash with Satan and his fallen angel army in a battle called the “Battle of the Great God.” (29) (D&C 88:114) 

   
   

2. “The devil and his armies shall be cast away into their own place, (30) that they shall not have power over the saints any more at all.”

   
   

3. “Just as the battle of Armageddon will signal the end of the telestial world and the coming of the terrestrial, so will the battle of God and Magog at the close of the Millennium signal the end of the terrestrial order and the coming of the celestial.” (31) [Elder Lund, CotL pg. 214]

8. EXPLANATION OF THE ANCHOR DATE

Alright, changing gears here.  There are many more things to add, but it’s time to connect this timeline to actual years.  Now, obviously the truth is this: we don’t actually know the exact moment, a) when the tribulations start and b) when Christ comes.  We can get close.

We know they’re 7 years apart and we know the signs to look for, but that’s really it.  It’ll be a lot easier to know when the 7 years begin when we see the sign: a 7 year peace treaty with many nations including Israel.  

We got really close last October 8, 2025. Video Clip  I have a video where I had predicted at the end that we’d either see a “peace deal” or “bloodshed.”  I made this last September when everyone else was all about how we would all see the RAPTURE.  I made that video about a week and a half before Trump warned Gaza that they better either accept the peace treaty or it would end in bloodshed.  So he even used the same wording as I did, it was really cool.  

A couple weeks later, when Trump’s peace treaty between Gaza and Israel was finalized, it did technically match the prophecy.  It included “many nations” that would help sort of “police” the policy with Gaza, it was even a treaty that would be for a 7 year period.  However, Gaza certainly didn’t really keep their side of the deal, not a huge surprise.  I think they were already killing Palestinians again after 2 days, stopped for a few days then went back to it.  I think we ended up having to use military force because they wouldn’t stop murdering people.  So ultimately, I don’t think that one counts because Daniel says this Anti-Christ keeps the treaty for at least half the 7 years before breaking that covenant.  We do know that Trump already has “many nations” signed up for his “Abrams Accord” peace treaty and he’s talked about getting many more on board this year, so we may see something by September.  Interestingly, Trump just finalized his new “Board of Peace” this last Thursday, January 22 in Davos, Switzerland.  We’ll have to keep an eye on that 10 person board of peace, it could end up fulfilling [Rev. 17:12-16].

Anyway, I’m going to show you how I eventually decided to plot this timeline to actual dates and then I’ll show you some of the interesting events that we know will happen in the near future that will sort of validate it and possibly prove that this timeline is at least on-track.  These will be things that I haven’t really heard anyone else talking about.  Or maybe I just haven’t found them yet.

I think I had made about 4-5 different timelines before I did this one, using different theories and different Jewish calendars, like prophetic vs kings, etc.  None of them really fit.  I researched, I watched tons of videos from other people, many were very interesting but still didn’t really fit or had conflicting details or there were important scriptures not considered, or they were just main-stream Christians that didn’t have the benefit of modern revelation and so on.  So after much frustration, here is what I did:  

I had finished that YouTube short about the peace treaty where I had read Elder Gong’s talk Elder Gong’s Talk about “sacred convergences”, remember this was last September.  I had this thought come to me that if “sacred convergences” really was a thing, as Elder Gong said, and if we really are connected to Israel just as Elder L. Tom Perry, President Nelson and many others have said in General Conference, (like Moroni telling Joseph Smith that he absolutely could not get the plates any day except for Sept. 22 that year which fell on the Feast of Trumpets.)  And the Jews also believe in sacred convergences with eclipses (they also happen in scripture like with Jonah in Nineveh and the Solar eclipse), so why couldn’t I look online for future eclipses and Jewish feasts that may line up?  After all, the Jews believe Messiah told them he will come on the Feast of Trumpets, right?  All the symbolism is there.  

So I went through 2026-2040 using an eclipse website, took notes for each year, comparing how many eclipses, what kind, total or partial, if a feast lined up or not, etc.  Here’s what I found:  most years simply just don’t really have anything notable.  Until I came across 2033.  2033 Eclipses  The first thing I noticed was quite the rare thing - Feast of Trumpets landed on the exact same day as a solar eclipse.  The last time that happened was 2015 and I couldn’t figure out when the next time was, but far in the future I guess.  Not just that but there were only 4 eclipses that year. 

Remember when I told you that Daniel’s 490 years for the Jew’s to be reconciled started in 444 BC but only if you use Jewish years and the number 4 represents the 4 letters for Christ’s name in Hebrew, “YHWH?”  What if the end is also symbolically in His name as well?  

The eclipses pattern match that 4 letter word for Christ, “YHWH” - The “H”s are the same letter, both are Lunar eclipses, the “Y” and the “W”, are both solar eclipses but the “Y” which has a greater value in Jewish Gematria (10) is the total eclipse, while the “W” has a smaller value (6) is a partial solar eclipse on the exact same day as the Feast of Trumpets that represents the Messiah.  Christ also said He would come when the sun would be “darkened” meaning “partially.”  There’s nothing anywhere in prophecy that says eclipses have to line up perfectly with feasts, and we’ve had some major events in the past that were a week away from a feast.  But, I thought that was pretty cool!  You just can’t make this stuff up.

[Hosea 6:2] also happens to work very well here, he says, “After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.”  That was an important scripture I found through watching a video with the Pickerings, really good stuff.  The two days are representative of God’s time where 1 day = 1k years, so 2 days = 2k years.  2k years from Christ’s death at the age of 33 = 2033.  When Hosea says, He will “revive” us, he’s referencing the 1k years of the Millennium.

(32) The Messiah will come for His people sometime around this day.  Remember here that the Jewish idiom,”no one knows the day nor hour” is used at this “Feast of Trumpets” to look for the sign of the new moon to begin the Feast and is often postponed a day or so while they wait for the sign.  In the future, it won’t be a new moon they’ll be looking for.  [Matthew 25:6 - Bridegroom comes at midnight]  I decided to work backwards using September 23, 2033 as an anchor date for the rest of the timeline.  Now, with the anchor date in place, all we have to do is work backwards and fill in the years.  (33)  Now to find the date of the approximate start of the 7 years is to first understand that: 

9. The 7 year period is then made up of two approximate halves -

Named so by severity of destruction.  The first being “Tribulations”  (34)  (which is often compared to a pregnant woman who will give birth anytime.)  During this time, she’s starting to become pretty miserable, aches and pains all over, too hot, too cold, she can’t sleep, restless… (WYKYK.)  Meaning, things in the world will be “heating up”, as Saints, we will be very uncomfortable… There will be wars, persecution, apostasy, delusion and lies that will tempt and pressure us to take the mark of the beast.  [Isaiah 26:17-18][Micah 4:10][Isaiah 66:7-9][Rev. 12:2][2 Thess. 2:3 - apostasy] 

  I want to explain here how I got the number of days for this half, the “1,279 days.”  You see, it’s just assumed that both halves of the 7 years are equal time spans, but Daniel never said they were and it wouldn’t make mathematical sense.  When Daniel gave us all this information about the days and times, more than likely, he would have used a JEWISH calendar.  He was Jewish, thus a Jewish calendar.  Well, I really don’t want to go over this subject too much because the Jewish calendar is, what’s a nice way to put it, very difficult.  The basics of their “Metonic Cycle” is that they use a 19 year cycle but every second or third year, they add a month, called “embolismic years,” I’m no scholar on that.  I’ll have a few links for those who are brave enough to wade through that math.  I found a great website that does it for you, thankfully.  

Supposedly, the 7 year cycle the Messiah is thought to come back on, will have about 86 moons which roughly equal about 2,569 days.  Daniel tells us the second half of the 7 years will have:

1,290 days so... 1,290 - 2,569 = 1,279. 

Interestingly, it also takes us from one Rosh Hashana, 2026 to the Rosh Hashana (Feast of Trumpets) in 2033 when Christ may come.  So it makes a perfect 7 year Jewish timeframe.  He’s also thought to come back after a Sabbath year, thus making it a Jubilee year.  More on that later.

10. The second half is called the “Great Tribulations” -

Or the “Time of Jacob’s trouble.” (35)  This is compared to a woman who is in the middle of great labor pains: it’s excruciating pain, you feel like you’re ripping in half, there’s great shakings, water flooding the earth, hailstorms, blood, fire and plagues, the 7 trumpets and 7 bowls of wrath, all the things we don’t want to be here to experience, by that I mean, before then we want to be in the New Jerusalem which will be the ONLY safe refuge because Christ will physically be present.  [CotL pg. 88][Matt. 24:21 - great trib](JSMatt 1:18)[Rev. 7:14][Daniel 12:1, 7]

Knowing the number of days for the “Tribulations” and “Great Tribulations,” now we can confidently add the date for the start of the 7 years. (36) That would be September 11, 2026, this year.  I find the date quite symbolic.  We also have a Total Solar Eclipse the following night or the same day, depending on your perspective since the Jews don’t always count the night their Feast begins.

Let’s also add in the date (37) for when the anti-Christ desecrates the Temple in Israel since we can now either add 1,279 days from Sept. 11, 2026 or subtract 1,290 days from Sept. 23, 2033.  Either way, we get March 13, 2030.

11. DANIEL’S 2300 -

We have one last days’ number from Daniel to finish all of the numbers of days that Daniel gave us.  This one is found in [Daniel 8:13-14], Daniel hears a Saint speak, asking when will this occupation and destruction of the holy Temple end?  He’s told that there are 2,300 days until the sanctuary is cleansed.  Well, we don’t know when the temple desecration happens, but we do know that only Christ will be able to cleanse these abominations from the Anti-Christ who does this thing because it’s a military occupation that we won’t be able to fight against.  Okay, so let's work backwards then, (38) so if Christ comes about September 23, 2033, the day calculator gives us June 7, 2027, with Shavuot 3 days later on the 10th. (39)  

What’s pretty cool about Shavuot is that both Enoch and King David, were born and translated/died on this Feast.  (Did you know that Trump was born the same night as a Blood moon which is a total Lunar Eclipse and the next day was Passover?  We’ll talk more about why that’s important later.  

Now we have a large glaring problem with our timeline.  See, [Daniel 9:27] tells us that the Temple in Jerusalem doesn’t get desecrated by the Anti-Christ until the middle of the timeline, but now he’s telling us that it happens at this 2,300 days mark?   Daniel is either mistaken on his numbers or… it happens twice.  Remember the parallels I showed you earlier?  I’m about to show you powerful parallels proving that almost everything we’ve been taught about what happens to Jerusalem in the last days, also happens on the American continent first.  It’s a large section but it’s the only way we can keep going forward with this timeline.

12. AMERICA’S 2ND COMING VS ISRAEL’S 2ND COMING -

Parallel’s 1 This is the parallel I showed before.  I compared what Christ did with his people between His 1st Coming in America in [3 Nephi] and when He came to his disciples after He was crucified, in the New Testament. Parallel’s 2 Now look at this parallel between what seems on the surface like two of the same 2nd Coming events.  Here’s the scriptures I used for the left side Scriptures - AoA_NJ I’m just going to list them because some are quite long.  Here’s the scriptures I used for the right side Scriptures - Second Coming.  There are so many similarities for when Christ comes to us at the New Jerusalem and when He comes at the 2nd Coming. If you were to ONLY read the similarities between the two events, you would believe that they are the same event.  The blue boxes at the bottom are the new laws [Jeremiah 31:31] and gifts given to us after those events.  The slide before shows the old but current ones.  Lets go to the next slide I call Anti-Parallels 2, (which is totally a real word, by the way, haha.) 

These are the exact same events I just showed to you, but now, we are looking at the differences between them as found in the scriptures.  Look at how DIFFERENT they are!  They are not even close to the same event.  For example, the 2nd Coming sections almost always mention the Mount of Olives splitting, the Jews crying over Christ’s wounds and Christ is wearing red, not white.  Or any combination of what’s listed.  On the other hand, when the passage is speaking about Christ coming to the New Jerusalem, there’s always a reference to any combination of what’s on the left. 

In many instances, which I love, there is the temple imagery in New Jerusalem for the Saints, vs the vengeance imagery for the Jews at the 2nd Coming.  Here, Christ will always be wearing all white, there’s almost always a gathering, a feast or celebration and new names.  None of that is found during the 2nd Coming events or even when He rescues the Jews.  Never.  A quick note here, when you’re reading those chapters, sometimes the same chapter has both events, one after another which adds to the confusion.  But with a careful read through, you can find where the story breaks or the vision changes.  

There are some other fun things that show us that Christ comes to us at the New Jerusalem.  The Lost 10 Tribes, the Tribe of Jacob (specifically Manassah through Joseph which are the Nephites and Lamanites) and the City of Enoch [Moses 7:62-64] are all unique to the New Jerusalem events.  We know they meet us at the New Jerusalem because they help us build the New Jerusalem WITH CHRIST.  In [CotL pg. 123]

Brigham Young said, “Not a man in all the realms and kingdoms that exist knows how to commence the foundation of the Zion of God in the latter days without revelation.” 

Elder Pratt said, “God intends to have a city built up that will never be destroyed nor overcome, but that will exist while eternity shall endure…Suffice it to say that God by revelation will inspire his servants and will dictate to them the order of the buildings of that city…” 

John Taylor said this, “The architectural designs…will be under the direction of the Lord, who will control and manage ALL these matters; and the people, from the President down, will ALL be under the guidance and direction of the Lord…until eventually they will be enabled to erect cities that will be fit to be caught up- that when Zion descends from above, Zion will also ascend from beneath, and be prepared to associate with those from above.” 

Meaning, the City of Enoch, also called Zion will come down from above as we erect the New Jerusalem from below.  How wonderful is that?  The Lord will guide everyone on how to build this city that “cannot be built after earthly patterns.”  I’ve often wondered how long it would take us to build a city in time.  And by that I mean, Joseph Smith said that Christ wouldn’t come until the Temple was built first.  But with the small timeframe and no materials, perhaps we’re looking at a supernatural version of minecraft for building, haha.

Another one that shows us Christ comes to New Jerusalem first, is the “punishment” He says He will give to any nation that fights against Israel, whomever isn’t destroyed, must honor Christ through the Feasts of Tabernacles in [Zechariah 14:16-19] He tells us they will have to go up and honor Him “year to year.”  If they DO NOT honor Christ each year, they will receive no rain, If they already have no rain, they get a plague.  This tells us that there’s still a few years left from this event until the 2nd Coming because, at the 2nd Coming, Christ says, there is “time no longer” [Rev. 10:6] and thus it wouldn’t apply.  (A note:  That Zechariah scripture I actually believe will happen towards the beginning of the 7 year tribulations and I’ll explain why at the end.) 

13. THE ANTI-CHRISTS -

We cannot finish proving that Christ comes to the New Jerusalem first without also going over the Anti-Christ events.  They are intrinsically connected because he destroys this Anti-Christ and Harlot at the city.  And we cannot continue making the timeline without knowing this crucial information.  Just like how the 2nd Coming events were so incredibly similar to Christ coming first to New Jerusalem, the Anti-Christ making war at the New Jerusalem is also very similar to that vast army that besieges Jerusalem right before Christ rescues the Jews at the 2nd Coming.  So again, I’m going to draw up Parallels from summaries and share those scriptures with you.  We have 7 major chapters about the Anti-Christ.  3 from Daniel and 3 from Revelation.  (Jeremiah chapters 30-31 have a few fun passages that specifically talk about Ephraim, that’s most of us, the Tribe of Manassah and the Lost 10 tribes all going to the New Jerusalem.) 

Anyway, Daniel and Revelation are long so I have two slides for this.  Two things I want you to know about all these chapters.  1. They are all the same event, and ultimately focuses on the same Anti-Christ, how he rises to power, specific things that he does and how he meets his end.  While there are multiple Anti-Christ’s, there’s one who is the most talked about because he gains the most power and is able to rule world-wide, nobody can beat him, except Christ.  We will also have the Harlot, or “whore of all the earth” involved, later.  In my comparison here, the red words are commonalities between all the chapters.  The blue are also that, but are things that are more unique to the location of this event being in America and in the New Jerusalem instead of Israel’s Jerusalem so pay particular attention to those clues.

I’m not really comparing these in any particular order. Parallels 5 - Anti-Christ 1  We’re mainly looking to see if these indeed are the same event and if they take place in America.  Let’s start with Daniel, who came maybe about 300 years before John, so his visions wax heavier with symbolism.  Here in both chapters 7 and 8, he’s given two different visions of the same Anti-Christ (and a separate “night vision” or dream halfway through chapter 7.)  Don’t let the references to ancient kingdoms like Media, Persia throw you off.  Remember, prophecy repeats itself.  He makes it clear that these visions are for the last days in [Daniel 8:19] (make sure to look at the JST for the word “in”). 

Even though each chapter uses different creatures to come to the point, the thing that remains consistent is this idea that we have some powerful kingdoms or nations in a world war.  However, in the midst of the war, we have rampant corruption as everyone vies for power.  There’s one power that rises fairly quickly and Daniel calls this person the “Little Horn” because he’s part of a mighty kingdom that gets broken up into 4 pieces, each ruled by 4 different “kings”, symbolized by a broken horn, thus the name.  John doesn’t really give him a name in his chapters, but they do the same things.

We see here that the “Little Horn” speaks “great” things and “blasphemies”, sets himself up to be God of all God’s but worships this “God of Forces” in [Daniel 11].  In [Daniel 8], verse 5 says this anti-christ comes from the most western part of the earth.  That’s America, which then makes the “pleasant land”, that Daniel says is in the west - this is one of the directions it says the Anti-Christ travels with his army - that makes it Salt Lake City.  Why?  Because the first time this prophecy was fulfilled, the “pleasant land” was Israel.  Salt Lake City would be the “pleasant land” of America, wouldn’t it?  Sadly, we know that Salt Lake City is prophesied to be “classed among the wicked cities of the world” in the last days. [CotL pg. 73-74] Parallels 5 - Anti-Christ 2 

In every chapter, this “Little Horn” purposely searches out the Saints who refuse to worship him.  Unfortunately, all the chapters have him and the harlot as being very successful in this endeavor to murder Christians, which is why we will be eagerly awaiting the call to flee from our homes to those places “prepared for us”.  This call will ONLY come from the Prophet, so make sure you’re attending your church meetings, always watch General Conference and President Nelson warned us to have Temple recommendations which seal us to God.  Missing the call to flee is akin to being the 5 virgins who get shut out of the wedding feast.  

In the 2nd Coming, the army that has besieged Jerusalem for 3.5 years is very unsuccessful in killing the remaining Jews who are protected by the two witnesses, so we know that this is a different event.  This Anti-Christ goes on to destroy temples and in Daniel 8, it even says he sets up his throne in one of the Saints temples because he wants to be worshiped.  The last half of Daniel 11 details the warring and destruction in more detail.  His demise is usually the same, some chapters don’t give much detail, but the Anti-Christ makes war with Christ at the New Jerusalem who then destroys the beast and the “Little Horn”.  

Now the Harlot is not spoken of in Daniel, however we know that she is part of the same events because [Rev. 17, 18 & 19] detail her rise to power during this end time event which is this great world war and sort of a one world government deal just like in Daniel.  She represents this world-wide corrupt religion in league with this “Little Horn” and the kings over the earth.  Similar to the Anti-Christ, she gets “drunk” off the blood of the Saints.  Unfortunately for her, the 10 kings are not loyal as they are corrupt and desire more power for themselves.  These kings burn her up, her great city in 1 day.  [Rev. 17:18] calls her “that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth” which is probably New York City since it’s recognized as the world’s financial center and you have all the wealthy merchants of the world lamenting her loss in chapter 18. 

New York was also prophesied to burn by Brigham Young.  In [D&C 84:114] it says, it will be left desolate.  At first I thought it could be Rome since we get all this Catholic Church imagery from John, some very specific things like the purple and scarlet robes, the incense and gold, the names of blasphemy (or titles like “Holy Father”, Vicar of the Son of God, Monsignor which means, “my Lord.”)  But they don’t rule over kings anymore, unless they’ll be bringing that back in the end times.  It doesn’t have to be Rome for her to represent New York which fits better because John tells us that she has a stronghold on each continent, her 7 mountains.

The items in blue should be given scrutiny.  Parallels 5 - Together  They’re more clues about where on the timeline this event takes place.  In Daniel 7 and Revelation 19, we have that Adam-Ondi-Ahman scene with Michael and the New Jerusalem temple wedding with Christ, wearing of white and a new name.  Daniel 7 has two very specific timeframes that complete the 7 year tribulations themselves with Christ at the New Jerusalem right in the middle.  In his dream in verse 21-22, 25, he sees that the Anti-Christ had power over the Saints for “time, times and a dividing of a time” a “time” = 1 year, “times” = 2, “dividing of a time” = ½ a year.  So that is 3.5 years until he’s destroyed in the middle of the timeline, after Adam-Ondi-Ahman.  In verse 12, we know there is still 3.5 years after Adam-Ondi-Ahman until Christ comes in His 2nd Coming event, because once Christ destroys the Anti-Christ, it says the remaining beasts are allowed to live for another 3.5 years even though their dominion is taken away.  This is repeated by John in Rev. 13 but he says it’s for 42 months which roughly equal 3.5 years.    

I want to do one last comparison to drive this proof home; that Christ does come to us at the New Jerusalem which in many ways parallels the 2nd Coming.  This time, we’re going to look at the B.o.M. and some D&C. Parallels - Christ Comes to NJ  Look at this first scripture here on the left.  [1 Nephi 13:42]

This next scripture, [1 Nephi 14:17] was a curiosity for me so I’m going to expound it a bit.  You see, Nephi details the harlot all chapter long, then tells us that ON THAT DAY when Christ destroys the Harlot, which we went over, that the WORK of the Lord commences, which prepares the way to “fulfill” His covenants with us.  Well, I thought He had already started this work a long time ago and we already make covenants with Him in the temple.  So why would Nephi tell us that it begins on that same day as the Harlot being destroyed?  There will only be about 3.5 years left from that point until the 2nd Coming.  It didn’t make sense to me but when a Prophet tells you a specific time like that, you listen up because it has to be very important.  So I went on a scripture chain quest and you can follow it here:   Parallels 7 - Scripture Chain for Work 

We start with the same scripture in Nephi and if you’re looking at it online, you can click on the word, “work.”  [3 Nephi 21:7, 20-29] pops up.  I’m not going to read it because it’s long but take a look, I’ve highlighted the parts that stood out to me.  This is Christ speaking to the gentiles in America.  He’s telling them that when they see this this great destructive force destroyed by Christ and they see this literal gathering of Israel (of which we are a part of) commence upon the American continent, which is the New Jerusalem event we’ve been talking about, that it is to be a SIGN to the people he’s speaking to which is the Tribe of Jacob (Manassah specifically) AND a sign for the Lost 10 Tribes of Israel that it is now their turn to be gathered to the New Jerusalem which Christ tell them in 3 Nephi, will be on their land, which is America.  When they get there, they will receive the full restoration of everything that Christ will bring. 

THAT is HIS WORK.  That is His covenant to us, that whoever repents and comes to Christ, the same can be fully restored, purified and perfected and that those who do not repent are about to be forced to pay their final bill and tab and all their debt from sin.  A complete restoration of all things and the Earth will receive her paradisaical glory. Thus Christ's final work commences in earnest at the New Jerusalem and completed 3.5 years later at the 2nd Coming of which he says, “And plagues shall go forth, and they shall not be taken from the earth until I have completed my work.”  [D&C 84:97]  This is because the second half of the 7 year tribulations, the Great Tribulations, are marked by severe plagues, then 3.5 years later is the 2nd Coming.

Scriptures - Christ Comes to NJ Okay, going back to the previous slide.  So on the left side we have the sign of the gathering to New Jerusalem and Christ Himself telling us in 3 Nephi who will help build the city and that He will literally be there with us.  You can’t get any better than Christ telling us directly.  But look at the D&C side on the right.  We get this fascinating aspect, the other side of the coin so to speak.  This is all Christ speaking.  For the righteous, being at the New Jerusalem is going to be amazing.  For the wicked it will be so terrifying that they won’t even come close to the city because the glory of the Lord will be so magnificent.  It will be the ONLY city that’s not at war. 

Then we have [Moses 7:62–64] and Christ is explaining how this is all going to work in the last days to Enoch.  He explains the gathering to Zion, how we will have to “gird up” our loins before Christ comes while we wait and watch for His arrival.  This “girding up” our loins means to be prepared both physically and spiritually for something difficult, usually used in the B.o.M. before a battle.  Why will we have to “gird up our loins”?  Because until Christ comes to the New Jerusalem officially, it won’t be very safe at all so we will have to keep watch and be ready.  Does that sound like the 2nd Coming?  No, we don’t fight, Christ does.  He’s telling us that we will need to be watchful and ready until He comes to the New Jerusalem to protect us.  The Anti-Christ, the Harlot and their army are able to come and surround the city to destroy it because Christ hasn’t come yet.  [D&C 133:2] Section 133 details this event. 

We are told to gather as many people into the city as possible, it doesn’t matter who they are as long as they are good people who are willing to repent and accept Christ.  Then Christ suddenly comes to His Temple, probably right when it looks like we’re about to be destroyed, because that’s His signature show of power.  Then a great battle as Christ comes out to meet them with His army of fiery angelic horsemen that cannot be killed nor escaped.  [Joel 2]  Christ tells Enoch in [Moses 7:62–64] that sometime after this battle is when he and his city of Zion come down to meet us and Christ will come with Him.  It’ll be a great reunion.  None of this is in any of the 2nd Coming passages.
