The Mark of the Beast comes when the Antichrist is here to announce it and he sets his throne in Israel. The Antichrist may or not be the president of USA, most likely no, but one man that is going to be King and ruler of the entire world. He will also claim that he is God and the Christ and have everyone bow to him and denounce Jesus.
The Mark goes in right hand and or forehead and vaccine goes on neither but the arm of either side you choose.

Also, Tav in Hebrew means "mark," the symbol for tav is is two crossed sticks: probably of two sticks crossed to mark a place, similar to the Egyptian hieroglyph , a picture of two crossed sticks. In my last article, https://www.signsandprophecies.com/post/will-biden-be-a-short-feather-what-happens-next, the three great eagles rule together and bring about great oppression and evil upon the world, thus fulfilling the prophecy of abomination in the last days (which also bring about the anti-christ and the mark of the beast) per Prophet Ezra's prophecy in 2 Ezra 11-12.
Well, after I wrote that, I had a friend suggest to me that perhaps the three eagle heads might represent the three arms of our U.S. government; the judicial, the legislative, and the executive. After all, the eagle and his body represent America. I don't know if that's true but it was an interesting thought.
Now, the eagle heads are NOT the anti-christ, but their rule brings them out. I know that some people believe that it might be Mohammad Bin Salman who is the current crown prince of Saudi Arabia. This is due to his lineage and the fact that he seems to be the only one in the middle-east calling for peace between them and Israel, both of which meet scriptural requirements.
As for what the mark of the beast might be- what form it might come in, we can only speculate but there are definitely several prospects, like you said; QR codes- I think perhaps the vaccine passport (as advertised on the MIT webpage as an invisible tattoo that goes on your arm, keeps all your info, etc.) Either way, I believe it will most likely come about with the end of currency and the New World Order that's being pushed by elites (and openly spoken about by banking elites: https://www.theblaze.com/shows/the-glenn-beck-program/wef-great-reset-plan).
