So I'm looking more into the opening of the 7th seal... in Rev 7:4-8 it talks about sealing of the tribes, and then in verse 9 it starts "After this I beheld, and lo..." - and then goes on to talk about what I tend to agree with is the Palmyra Temple Dedication.
My question is... has verses 4-8 happened in that case? If not, could it be that we're not in the 7th seal?
Keen to hear your thoughts :)
I haven't thought to make a group on facebook. Ironically, I've been trying to get my new acquaintance, Brother Goddard, to start one so we could have a live conference. He's talked a bit about it but I don't know if he will.
I have a personal facebook account but I don't recommend people add me since I'm one of those annoying people who mostly post political things. đ
If anyone has something that they'd like to recommend a post about, I'd be happy to do the work if enough people want it though!
Thank you sooo much for your reply!
I just looked up the JST of 2 Peter 3:8 ... thank you so much for sharing!
I love your comments about the temple dedication and your comments on the seal - it makes so much sense, and I especially love how you share your reasoning and quotes along with it.
I will be keeping a close eye on your site... thank you for all your work! Do you have a group on Facebook by any chance? I would love to get to know more people like you - I learn sooo much!
Thank you again!
Hi Deb! I highly recommend my "2020" article as it talks in more detail about the seven seals and the half-hour of silence. :)
We have most definitely reached the 7th Seal (as of 2000) per Joseph Smith revelation, also in 2 Peter 3:8.
This passage of scripture could totally represent the Palmyra Temple Dedication. Technically, it could represent ALL Temple Dedications, such is the power of "parallelisms" as coined by Elder L. Tom Perry. It talks about the hosanna shouts, Sanctification and Temple work. The people in white are those who have passed this Earth, who have accepted their vicarious (or in person) Temple ordinances such as Baptism and Temple SEALINGS. I'm sure they attend Temple Dedications! So absolutely, this is an event that happens via Temples on Earth.
The whole thing with the "Seal" is very interesting to me and I write about it in "Jodi Stoddard - Translation, Terrestrial Order & the 144,000" just under her video. You'll also find very good info on the 144,000!
I believe that this Seal in their "foreheads" that is spoken of in Revelations, time and time again (which serves as a protection in the last days- Rev. 9:4 shows this) is a Temple recommend. Why? President Nelson said this in the April 2020 Liahona, "The time is coming when those who do not obey the Lord will be separated from those who do. Our safest insurance is to continue to be worthy of admission to His holy house." View article here. Also, all the items listed as things you need to "being Sanctified" (as I list at the end of the Jodi Stoddard article I referenced above) are all the things one needs to receive a Temple recommend.
So I'm reading 'The Book of Revelation: Things Which Must Shortly Come to Pass' - by G Erik Brandt ....
And this is part of Rev 7 he talks about:
___________________________________ Rev 7:9-12
9. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10. And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12. Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever. Amen.
The second group seen by John is a great host of faithful, gathered out of every nations, dressed in white robes, with palms in their hands. Each individual in the multitude has the seal of the Father reflected in their countenance, as they now stand in His presence.
This innumerable host of heavenly beings surrounds Godâs throne. Their numbers seem to extend as far as the eye can see. This great throng represents the exalted Saints of God; members of the Church from all the dispensations including Latter-day Saints who had passed on. Many of these hosts had accepted the gospel and attained the promise of Eternal Life through vicarious works for the dead.
Dressed in pure white robes and bearing palm leaves, they sing a victorious carol (Rev. 7:9). As traditional symbols, the white robes and palms represent a feeling of victory, royalty and purity. The innumerable hosts have overcome their trials and obtained victory over the world. They represent the chosen generations, the elect and the royal priesthood, the holy nation that was frequently spoken of by the prophets (1 Pet 2:9). The Greek word soteria [swthriĂ°a], or âsalvationâ carries a sense of deliverance from enemies. Among the great multitude are those preserved during the great tribulations that occur in the times prior to the Second Coming.

A few things that stand out to me in that are:
"Each individual in the multitude has the seal of the Father reflected in their countenance" - the seal of the Father means that they have their calling and election made sure. If we think this might have been the Palmyra Temple Dedication... could we be wrong?
"Many of these hosts had accepted the gospel and attained the promise of Eternal Life through vicarious works for the dead." - is this an event that happens here on earth?
Sorry, I'm pretty new to this... but I'd really love to hear other perspectives... I honestly thought we were in the 7th seal... but now I'm second guessing.
Thank you for your patience :)
